The ALCOR series air treatment units are designed and manufactured to meet wide-ranging demand from the industrial and construction sectors.
Units are available in three 3 sizes and 20 versions with different power ratings, in vertical or horizontal format and with a wide selection of accessories.
These units allow a wide range of thermo-hygrometric treatments and filtration efficiencies that make them suitable for many applications. Ease of installation, product flexibility and quality of finish make these air handling units market leaders.
All units in the ALCOR series have undergone appropriate testing. Production is detail-oriented to ensure the customer receives machines built in accordance with EEC Directives 89/392, 91/368, 93/44, 93/68, 73/23, 108/EC, Eco Design ErP 2018. The technical staff are constantly engaged in the search for components of the highest quality, reliability and durability.

Features

  • The structure is made of galvanised sheet steel.
  • The fans are directly coupled to the motor and are either single or double depending on size. Made of aluminium and electronically balanced. Motor controlled by inverter board with modulating 0/10VDC signal.
  • The filter is G3-efficient, washable and renewable. Optionally also available in G5 class.
  • Heat exchanger made of copper tubes with aluminium fins. The tubes are mechanically expanded to increase the exchange factor with the aluminium fins.
  • Air breather valve included.
  • The drain tank is made of galvanised sheet steel painted with epoxy powders. An optional galvanised steel auxiliary tray collects the condensate produced on the valves and connection pipes.
  • The unit can be ceiling mounted, with rear intake and horizontal air delivery, or vertically flush mounted, with front intake and upward or horizontal air delivery.
  • The units can be fitted with two different control systems with an in-room thermostat remotely controlled by the PLC via a bus line.
  • The 3-way or 2-way valve complete with actuator for ON-OFF or proportional is available no request.
  • All models are fitted with a connection terminal block.

General features
The ALCOR series of medium-head ductable units are designed for easy installation and maintenance. They are very compact compared to similar units with the same performance and this allows installation in locations with limited space. All components are accessible by removing only one panel, allowing for easier maintenance. A wide range of options and accessories, and the availability of product customisation during the project makes the ALCOR series extremely versatile.

Structure

  • The structure is made of galvanised sheet steel. The drain pan is made from stainless steel or painted with epoxy powders to provide additional corrosion protection.
  • The drain tank is also designed with a profile that prevents the build up of condensation.


Fan
The fans are directly coupled to the motor and are either single or double depending on size. Made of aluminium and electronically balanced. Three speeds are available as standard.

Filter
The filter is G3-efficient, washable and renewable.

Exchangers

  • Made of copper tubes with aluminium fins, the tubes are mechanically expanded to increase the exchange factor with the aluminium fins.
  • Air breather valve included.


Condensate collection tank
The drain pan is made from stainless steel or painted with epoxy powders to provide additional corrosion protection.

Configuration

  • The unit can be ceiling mounted, with rear air intake and horizontal air delivery.
  • Or vertically wall-mounted and recessed with frontal intake and vertical or horizontal outflow.


Control of the unit
The units can be fitted with two different control systems:
